Newsy Bits: Two Weeks to Witchlanders!

And look what came in the mail!

“Un-put-down-able!”

My fourteen-year-old nephew, Justin, immediately snagged a copy (how could I say no?).  I honestly didn’t know if he’d like it or even be able to get through it, but he called me less than 24 hours later to tell me he had stayed up all night reading it and that it was “un-put-down-able.”  Even next to Kirkus, that is definitely my favorite review so far!

My Blog Tour!

In other news, I’m am madly writing blog posts for my upcoming blog tour starting August 22nd and running to September 9th.  Check out my tour page on the Kismet tour site for more information and a list of all the wonderful bloggers who will be hosting me. I’ll be writing posts on topics like What I Do When I’m Not Writing and The World of Witchlanders, and there are also some hilarious character interviews with my main characters, Ryder and Falpian.  PLUS my wonderful agent, Steven Malk and the book’s designer, Sonia Chaghatzbanian have also agreed to be interviewed.

But you want to hear what I’m giving away, don’t you?  Well…it’s a Kindle!  And a really gorgeous one at that, all decked out with a Witchlanders Kindle skin and loaded with an e-copy of the book.  Follow the tour to find out how to win.

Drabble!

Got a moment for a very short, short story?  Have a listen to my drabble (story of exactly 100 words), “Polly’s Lament,” over on the Dribblecast website.  I love Clay Dugger’s reading.  And then you can try a drabble of your own!

Everything has an exclamation point!

I know, I know, but I’m a little excited!  It’s two weeks to Witchlanders!
