Welcome New Followers!

Hello! It was so exciting to see my Google Friend Connect Followers double last week during the release of my new YA fantasy novel, Witchlanders.  So with apologies to those of you who know me already, I thought I’d tell all you new folks a little about myself.  I usually only blog once a week on Wednesday mornings, but I try to make that a longer post.  Okay, this one won’t be, but I’m hoping that anyone who really needs more Lena will check out my blog tour, which is still ongoing at the various locations listed below.

I was  born in the states, but I now live in Toronto, Canada and I’m a duel American/Canadian citizen.  Don’t ask me to choose, because I love both my countries!  For nine and a half years I worked at CANSCAIP, the Canadian Society of Children’s Authors, Illustrators and Performers where I eventually became the Administrative Director.  At the moment I’m trying to make it work as a full-time writer, so…wish me luck!
